So this is my first blog ever and I am super excited. I just finished filming 3 of my first videos that I'm going to be posting and now all I have is the editing. Now for this first blog I'm going to explain a little bit about what I'm doing.
This year I'm on a mission. I want to try and do or try something new every day this year. So far I've gotten off to a good start. There were several things that I had never tried or done for myself before that I accomplished in January and I wanted to keep that streak going by starting this new blog, actually using my Youtube account, and creating a new twitter & Pintrest.
My name is Lyly and I'm not as interesting as I think. I love to imagine that I'm adventurous but I'm shy. I think that I'm bold but I'm pretty mild. Although I love finding out new and amazing things I don't seem to live and so that is one of the reasons for the try to try something new every day.
Just to let you know, I'm an Interior Design Major and will be receiving my Bachelors this July (YAY!!!) So I feel as if I'm finally ready for the big change. A new city, new friends and people to meet, and finally a new start (Finger's crossed I get the job I want & need).
Now that you all know that, you may wonder why I've named my blog, Pinterest, twitter, and channel Beauty and the Build. Well my name isn't beauty but I feel that we are all beauty. I love to build, craft, create, shop, and decorate beauty. It's something that I think we all need a little more of and that we can all spread everyday. So why not try and build beauty .
My second channel is called Adventures in Beauty and that is because since I find my natural skin and hair beautiful, I haven't really experimented with make-up before and so every day I try it is a new adventure. I've already filmed my first video for that channel as well and hope to post it on the same day as my other video. I just hope I can inspire someone else to be beauty adventurous.
